About Bugtrot

Hi. I'm 'Bugtrot'. My real name is Rachel.

Bugtrot is a name I adapted into an online handle many years ago, though sometimes it's also been "Trots with Bugs". 

I've gone by a few names over the years; most memorably I go by Kalia Firelyte in Second Life where I make 3-D animals with my business partner and best platonic-friend, Ashur Constantine.
I've also worked in illustration and publishing before as a book cover artist, though that was some time ago. It's a trade I've missed over the years and thus here we are with you reading this bio and potentially having found me through my work.

I live in eastern Pennsylvania with my husband and young son. 
We have a small zoo living with us which includes two cats, a japanese akita and a ball python.

Animals have always been a passion of mine and I aim to flood your brain with a little bit of serotonin with whatever animal art of mine you happen to be looking at.
